Iranian Fajr fest winner reveals English poster

Directed by Majid Barzegar, Iranian film ‘The Rain Falls Where it Will’ has published an English poster prior to its first international screening in the Netherlands.

The film will compete at the 50th edition of the International Film Festival Rotterdam on June 2-6.

This is Barzegar’s fourth film that is distributed by German company Media Lona.

Also produced by Barzegar, ‘The Rain Falls Where it Will’ has previously competed at the 38th Fajr Film Festival and garnered the Best Actress award.

The screenplay of the film is written by Barzegar and Arman Khansarian.

A short synopsis to the film reads “Sara is a 35-year-old nurse who helps her patients become calm; even those who will be soon dead.”

The poster was designed by Ghazaleh Avarzamani in The Other End Company in Canada.

Some of the main actors of the film are Nazanin Ahmadi, Mazdak Mirabedini, Ali Sanifar, and Arshia Nikbin.
